[Msw] Departure of Dr. Hugh Clark

Our beloved Dr. Hugh Clark, BSW Director, has accepted a research
position with the State of Oklahoma and will be leaving Texas
A&M-Commerce at the end of the summer term. He has been with us since
2004 and has made valuable contributions to the faculty, students, and
both the BSW and MSW programs.  While we are most sorry to see him go,
we are excited for him to take on this new adventure and share his
expertise through other professional avenues.  He will be moving to
Oklahoma City later in August.  I hope you will take the opportunity to
express your best wishes and appreciation for all he has done. We will
miss him greatly!

 

The department will be making plans to hire a full-time faculty to
replace Hugh and will be announcing our plans for the BSW Program
Director as well. In the meantime, if you have any academic questions or
needs, just contact the social work office and our fine staff will
connect you with someone who can help.  Good luck as your wrap up your
summer and we look forward to working with all students and agency
colleagues this coming fall.
