[Msw] FW: Communities In Schools "Stuff the Bus" School supply drive

[Pamela Hammond]

Dear Partner with Communities In Schools,

First let me say thank you for your help in collecting school supplies
to meet the need of students in our community. As you know, the need is
great. Summer is almost over and many families do not have the resources
to purchase school supplies for their children to start the new year.
Your help is making it possible for us to provide these students with a
backpack and enough school supplies to start school with. Communities in
Schools will continue to supply economically disadvantages students with
school supplies through out the year.

Our first collection day, on Saturday, July 25th, went well and we are
looking forward to are last collection day this Saturday, Aug 1, from
9:00 till 3:00.

Please let me know if you need me to pickup your box or if you will be
delivering it to the bus or the middle school. I would be happy to come
by and pick it up. We will be packing backpacks on August 10th, so we
will need to pick them up prior to that date.

We are also in need of volunteers to help pack backpacks on August 10th
and help with our distribution date on August 15th. If you would like
more information on these two dates let me know.

Thanks again for help,

Lois Stevens, LBSW
