[Msw] FW: NASW Texas Annual Conference

 Attention--MSW Students

1.  Any MSW student who wants to attend the state National Association
of Social Workers (NASW) Conference in (Galveston?) November 6-8 should
let me know.   I will need your name and student ID number by Sept 22.
I am going to apply for student organization (SOAC)  funds to help with
the cost of registration. The cost is $60.00 for NASW members and $70.00
for non-members.  $20.00 will be reimbursed after you complete your 4
hour of volunteer service.

 

2.  In order to have your registration fees reimbursed you must be a
member of the MSW student organization -annual membership dues=$5.00.
You can leave a check to the Master of Social Work Student Organization
in my  box or mail it to me at Texas A&M University-Commerce Social Work
Dept. Attn: Linda Openshaw PO Box 3011 Commerce, TX  75429-3011.  

 

3.  You must also save your registration confirmation and a copy of your
check or credit card receipt that shows you paid for the conference.
These should be turned in to Linda Openshaw as soon as possible.

 

4. If you are interested in becoming an officer in the MSW student
organization please let Linda Openshaw know by Sept 25, 2008.
