[MS Finance] Potential Job opportunities for BBA Finance Students

[Srinivas Nippani]

Hello students of BBA Finance and MSF,

I received the following information from a former student of ours. He presently works for the Texas Department of Banking, and he is very happy there.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Texas Department of Banking (Department) has hired Human Resources Specialist Ashley Reinhardt, who will be handling the Department's recruiting, job postings, and career fairs. Ms. Reinhardt can be contacted via email at ashley.reinhardt at dob.texas.gov<mailto:ashley.reinhardt at dob.texas.gov>.

As of last Tuesday, the Department had 28 job vacancies. Most of these have not been posted due to the training limitations resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent off-site examinations; however, this will give you an idea of the hiring occurring soon. The Department does have some postings listed and is hiring; however, not intending to fill all vacancies immediately.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I strongly recommend those of you who are looking for jobs to consider this. As I said, one of our alums works there, and I had a conversation with him last year. His health benefits are very, very good. His job satisfaction is very high. He has an excellent life/work balance. Based on my talk with him, I wished that I would not ask for more if all my students had what he has.

Best wishes,

Srinivas Nippani, Ph.D.
