[MS Finance] Real estate - graduate electives and minor

Do you know that we offer a minor in real estate?


 If you take the following three courses as electives, you will get a minor in real estate.

1. FIN 575 - Principles of Real Estate - Summer 2021

2. FIN 576 - Real Estate Appraisal and Investments - Spring 2021

3. FIN 577- Real Estate Finance - Fall 2022


Students specializing in real estate are preferred by many banks and financial institutions. This focused concentration in real estate will improve your career opportunities in areas of banking, mortgage lending, real estate development, asset management, appraisal, real estate management, and brokerage.


While the first course (FIN 575) primarily focuses on residential markets, the other two courses will cover financing and investment aspects in both residential and commercial real estate markets. The real estate minor is therefore designed to provide students with an opportunity to obtain comprehensive exposure to the field of real estate making them more competitive in the job market.
