Applications will be forwarded to the journalism faculty for review. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> Eligible majors are those on the news-editorial sequence, the public relations sequence, and the secondary education sequence with journalism as a teaching field. Radio-TV majors are not eligible, nor are majors in other fields. The McBrayer funding was established to support journalism majors.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal> When you look at the criteria, please note that Ms. Ramos says a Degree Works document will suffice for the transcript. But, also note that the criteria, which the journalism faculty cannot waive, require letters of recommendation from outside the journalism faculty and a two-page, double-spaced essay.
