added a special topics class for the spring<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

work. It will be taught by Ms. Hannah Barton <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><font size=2 face="Courier New"><span
style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"'>> and will include
background about the magazine industry ­ past and <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><font size=2 face="Courier New"><span
style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"'>> present ­ writing for
magazines,and production and editing. It will <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><font size=2 face="Courier New"><span
style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"'>> build on J115 and will
be open to students with permission only. The <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><font size=2 face="Courier New"><span
style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Courier New"'>> class will be limited
to an enrollment of 12-14 students.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

class should offer journalism and public relations <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

opportunity to explore this exciting field of <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

hope this might be a first step in restoring a <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Division. At one time, journalism students produced a publication titled The
