Journalism Division will open its scholarship competition in February (date to
be determined). This is for scholarships available for the academic year
2008-2009. In addition to Division scholarships, The Paris News and the Greenville
Herald-Banner will award $500 scholarships for the fall of 2008.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

recognize recipients at an Honors Day or at a journalism luncheon, as we did

also begin pulling together materials if you wish to apply. The amount of
the scholarships and the number of scholarships within the Division will depend
upon the funds available, but last year’s awards ranged between $1,000
