[Journalism] Help with enrollment in J495 Internship.

          A session to help students who plan to enroll in Journalism
495 (Summer I), the internship course, will be held Monday, March 4 in
Room 115 of the Journalism Building. Time is noon. Students seeking
internships, needing information about requirements or wanting to
discuss leads or exchange information with other students should attend.


 

          No one will be allowed to enroll in J495 the first summer
session without an approved internship from Dr. Bridges and without
attendance at this session or another session to be held later. Bring
resume with you. 

 

          Unsatisfactory adherence to Division requirements last summer
and fall showed a need for closer guidance in J495. Until then, few
problems had been encountered, and students adhered to the course's
procedures. However, it is apparent closer supervision may be needed for
some students. Thus, I will offer these sessions. 

 

          So, if you wish undertake an internship this summer under
J495, you should attend this session.
