[Journalism] Registration for Fall, Summer 1 & Summer 2.

[Kimberly Cook]

Registration for the fall term is open, and I would like to
remind all students of a few basics and in doing so answer a couple of
questions that I have received. I'll keep it brief. See me with
inquiries.

PR majors: can take J425 this summer without the
prerequisites because we are revamping the rotation of the courses, at
least that appears to be in order. So, if you are a PR sequence major, I
would take J425 this summer, for if courses are put back into a
sequence, J425 would not be offered again until the fall of 2013. I will
work with any student this summer in J425.

News-editorial majors: enroll in J214 in the fall, J115 in
the fall and J335 or J445. All are typically offered in the fall
semester.

J495 (Internship) will be offered this summer, and
several students have already secured positions. If you are considering
this enrollment (Summer 1), please see Dr. Bridges as soon as possible.

Remember you should follow the catalog on which you entered
A&M-Commerce. Anyone entering in the fall of 2011 is bound by the
newly-passed curricula. See me, Dr. Dempsey or the academic adviser for
Humanities, Social Sciences, and Art (Ms. McIntyre in Ferguson). Mr.
Stewart is also available for consultation.
