 This is an advising reminder as we approach the fall term of 2010.
        One:  news-editorial majors who need J316 should take it this fall.
It will not be offered for another year and possibly more with new curricula
proposals being considered for 2011-2012.
       Two: For public relations majors:  J329 should be taken by those who
have had J328 and/or who need to start the four public relations courses
required. With curricula revisions, J329 may not be offered for another
year. 
       Both classes had three openings earlier this week.
       Three:  anyone wanting to enroll for internship this fall should
contact Dr. Bridges with a proposal or for advice about possibilities. You
will not be permitted into the course without an approved agreement with a
professional organization.
       Look over your record and be sure you are completing all requirements
for your major and your minor (if needed, check with an adviser in the
program) and that you have taken all of the core classes required by the
state.       
       For those who applied for scholarships:  the data has just been given
to us, so we will go over applications soon.
