[Journalism] PLEASE READ...SPRING SEMESTER 2010

Registration for the spring semester has been open for weeks but please
note these comments as we conclude the fall term of 2009.
 
    Most classes are full or close to full.. If you need a class, see Dr.
Bridges in Room 127 before we break for the holidays.  In particular, J314
and J315 are full; the special magazine class to be taught by Ms. Hannah
Barton was offered for enrollment by approval only. If you were allowed to
register for J397, do so immediately or the Journalism Division will release
a seat to another student.
 
    Substitutions can be discussed with Dr. Bridges.
 
    Journalism 495 or internship is open only to students with approved
on-site agreements. If  you wish to undertake your internship in the spring,
see Dr. Bridges now.  For those interested in J495 for the summer, it would
be wise to begin researching possibilities. Ask the faculty if you need
help. 

    J414 is being phased out of the curriculum.  If you need that course,
see Dr. Bridges about another course.
 
    Again, we do not know what courses will be offered in the two summer
terms, for we do not have any word yet from the administration.  Dr. Bridges
has been asked if J425 could be offered and the answer is yes, if we have a
sufficient number of public relations majors to make the class ³go.²
