[Journalism] Students a Must Read!!!!!

Students, 

   Students needing J329 (PR Writing)should enroll this Spring, as the class
will not be offered in the fall of 2009. Students who need J426 (PR
Campaign) should note that the class has prerequisites and they should not
enroll in this class without D. Bridges approval if they do not have those
prerequisites. 

   Students wishing to undertake an internship (J495) during the Spring term
must have approval before enrolling. That means the internships has been
okayed in advance. For those students wanting to complete their internship
in the summer of 2009, it would be advisable to start contacting companies
NOW. Summers are more crowded with students from all colleges seeking
internships and, in addition the downturn in the economy could possibly
reduce the number of possibilities.

   On the other hand slower economy could increase the possibilities as
companies employ interns in their media organizations.

  See Dr. Bridges or Mr. Stewart if you need help. An internship is required
for your degree.
