[Journalism] Registration for Spring Semester

[Julie Phillips]

Students,

Registration for the Spring term of 2009 will begin soon. Please register for those classes you need as early as possible. Early registration helps you and it helps the faculty and staff in planning.

For Journalism majors, J260 should be taken in the spring, as it will not be offered in the fall of 2009. News majors should take J314 if you have has J214.

All majors who need J336 should take this class, as it is offered only in the spring.

J315 will be offered, but it is advisable that you have passed J115.

Public relations majors should follow J328 with J329, a writing course focused on that field. J426 should be discussed with Dr. Bridges.

Students who wish to complete their internship (j495) should see Dr. Bridges and begin to explore opportunities in their area of interest. Interns may pursue a wide variety of media - newspapers, magazines, pr firms, advertising, or electronic fields.

Dr. Bridges has an internship packet for all students.
