[Journalism] Scholarships

[Misty Tittle]

Attention, all journalism students (majors and minors): the Journalism
Division has opened its scholarship competition for awards for the academic
year 2008-2009. Copies of the announcement are available from Dr. Bridges
or Mr. Stewart. And, the data is posted on the Department's web site.
The deadline is March 24th. That gives you the spring break to
prepare your application.
These scholarships are ones administered by the journalism
faculty. Applications for scholarships form the Greenville Herald-Banner,
The Paris News, and the Donna Campbell Endowment Fund also will be awarded.
Each is $500.00.
The amounts of the Division scholarships will be determined.
Apply. Each year we receive fewer applications than awards
available.
          See the announcements for particulars.
