Journalism Students,

The Texas Press Association has announced its 2007 summer internship program
for journalism students. Posters with the names of newspapers offering
internships will be posted on bulletin boards and in classrooms. Tear-off
sheets are on the posters for your convenience. Students should apply
directly to the newspaper.

If you need help, ask Dr. Bridges, Mr. Stewart or Ms. Barton.

These opportunities are especially valuable to students following the
news-editorial sequence. A challenging internship will help prepare you for
a professional career.

And, if you are on the teaching certification program, a solid internship
will help you professionally and make you a more knowledgeable high school
teacher.
