<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">We look forward to working with you - both new and returning students, and making it a successful semester. Please visit our office in Ferguson Room 221. In order to serve
you better, the OIP has made few changes to its services. Below are the changes.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Advising Hours:</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> Our walk-in hours: M. T, Th. 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm; F 9:30 am – 11:30 am will
be strictly observed from this semester. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Mailing Address:</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"> The OIP will no longer assume the liability of receiving student mails,
including mails for USCIS applications - OPT, Change of Status among others. Henceforth students are required to list their personal addresses on applications. The OIP reserves the right to return mails delivered to the office to sender. Only mails processed
in Fall 2018 for OPTs will be accepted during the spring semester.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Letters of Invitation / Letters of Verification</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">: The Department of State does not honor
invitation letters written by third persons. Invitation letters should be written by the person inviting the visitor/s. OIP has a template of “Invitation Letter” on the website as guide when writing your letter. *Attach “Verification Letter” from the Registrar’s
Office to the invitation letter for more credibility at consulates. *If invitation letter is for graduation, also attach your confirmation of graduation application from the Registrar’s Office.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">CPT / OPT Workshops</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">: In the past, our workshops were online. However, we noticed our students
did not understand basic OPT / CPT regulations. This prompted OIP to convert workshops this semester to in-class, interactive events. The first CPT and OPT workshops are on January 30, 2019, and February 6, 2019 respectively. Sign up and see you in class!<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">OIP has a lineup of social and cultural events for spring 2019. These events include the Global Cultural Festival, Valentine’s Day Socials, Lion Cousin Kick Off, and many
