<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The Office of International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) has received a number of inquiries lately from students experiencing issues when applying for or trying to renew their driver’s license.</span></i></b><span style="font-size:14.0pt">
Unfortunately this is a very common issue and while students will often be told to contact their school’s international office to “fix the issue” in almost every situation there is nothing the ISSS can do. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The issue is often related to the system (called SAVE) that the DL and SSN office utilizes to communicate with SEVIS and USCIS. The ISSS does not have access to the SAVE system and SAVE will not speak to
us regarding any issues. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
