<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;text-align:justify">My name is Meichan Huang, a doctoral student at Department of Literature and Languages, Texas A&M University – Commerce. I am conducting research on the perception of L2 accented English
speakers for other non-native speakers of English. The intelligibility of L2 English is crucial when it comes to the successful communication between interlocutors, especially when the conversation involves L2 English speakers and listeners who are from different
L1 backgrounds. <span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;text-align:justify">We need 74 participants in total. Please contact us if you speak Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, Korean, or other languages.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;text-align:justify">Participating in this study will take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, and will be conducted on campus.
