<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma","sans-serif";color:black">F-1 and J-1 international students are required by the Student Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to be enrolled in a full course of study each fall and spring semester.
Students are required to have the permission of an international student advisor in the International Student Services Office before they enroll in less than a full course of study or drop before a full course of study. A full course of study is:<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<ul style="margin-top:0in" type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">A minimum of 12 semester credit hours for undergraduate students
<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">A minimum of 9 semester credit hours for graduate students
<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">Please note that only one (1) online course (3 semester credit hour course) will count toward the full course of study requirement
<o:p></o:p></li><li class="MsoNormal" style="color:black;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo1">Students are not required to study during the summer unless it is their first semester at A&M-Commerce or first semester to study in their academic program<o:p></o:p></li></ul>
