<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i><span style="font-size:14.0pt">The waiver period for the System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP<span style="color:black">) has begun for international students</span>.</span></i></b>
<b><i><span style="background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow">THE DEADLINE TO <u>SUBMIT</u> A WAIVER REQUEST IS SEPTEMBER 10, 2014.</span>
</i></b>Please note that students may only request a waiver of the SSHIP in certain circumstances and must provide the proof of the alternative health insurance coverage. Coverage must comply with the requirements set by the A&M System regulations. For a

http://www.tamuc.edu/CampusLife/CampusServices/internationalStudentServices/insurance.aspx</a>. Please note that students with a full-time graduate assistantship who are covered under the GA insurance plan are not required to submit a waiver request. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">All waiver requests are processed by the A&M System SSHIP broker Academic Health Plans (AHP).
<b><i><u><span style="background:yellow;mso-highlight:yellow">Please allow AHP up to 7 business days to process your waiver request.</span></u></i></b> Waiver approvals are only valid for the semester in which the waiver is approved. If you applied and were
approved for a waiver in a previous term, you will need to apply again. To submit your waiver requests go to
