Austin offers great historical destinations including the state capitol and the Bullock Texas State History Museum, world renown live music, a great restaurant scene, and very unique culture that has spawned the “Keep Austin Weird” slogan. For more information about visiting Austin go to <a href="http://www.austintexas.org/visit/">http://www.austintexas.org/visit/</a>. <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">We will depart on Friday, November 22 tentatively at 8:30am and we will return on Sunday, November 24 tentatively by 8pm. The cost for the trip is $160 which includes a two night stay at the premier Hilton Austin in downtown Austin, TX and transportation to and from Austin. There will be four students per room (2 queen beds) and the hotel does not provide a free breakfast but there are restaurants close to the hotel. The ISSO will also consider stopping at a grocery store on the way to Austin to allow students to purchase breakfast items. <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">The city of Austin has great public transportation so students may travel around to different destinations during their visit. On the return trip Sunday we will stop at the Round Rock Premium Outlets for students to shop. The $160 is non-refundable/non-transferable once you have signed up. Room assignments are set at sign-up and cannot be changed. The deadline to sign-up is Friday, November 1. Seating is very limited for this trip so don’t wait to sign up.
