The <span lang=EN>Dinner in an American Home provides an opportunity for international students to connect with individuals and families in the university and surrounding community. This program is designed to foster new friendships that promote cultural learning, appreciation, and understanding for both the hosts and students. This program is also designed to create an environment which promotes the open exchange of cultural experiences, customs, and ideas.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN>The expectation is for the host and student(s) to meet for one meal. Placement in the program is dependent upon <span style='color:black'>the number of hosts and students who sign up. All current A&M-Commerce international students are invited to participate in the program. If you know of anyone in the community who would like to participate feel free to forward this email to them. Students outside of the immediate area (example…DFW metro area) may sign up but placement will be dependent upon hosts in the student’s area. </span></span><o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:black'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:black'>There will be a welcome reception for all participants on Tuesday, October 1 at 6pm in BA 343.
