<p class=MsoNormal style='text-indent:.5in'><span style='color:black'>The 17<sup>th</sup>
Annual Multicultural Festival will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 in the Sam
Rayburn Student Center (SRSC) on the 2<sup>nd</sup> floor. Currently, Texas
A&M University-Commerce enrolls approximately 700 international students representing
over 38 countries. The college community, surrounding cities
and schools come to explore the various cultures and world during your
festival. Over the years we have had great response and praise for your
multicultural festival, one, if not the biggest event of the year at Texas
A&M University-Commerce. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:black'>The festival consists of a Flag
Parade, Country and Food Showcase, Talent Show, and Fashion Show. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:black'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Most international student populations have either formed a
student organization or are in the process of gathering information concerning
starting a student organization. If you need help contacting other students
from your home country please contact John Mark or Brenda in the ISSO and we
will put you in touch with other students. For those students who are limited
in fellow students from your home country send your contact information to the
ISSO via email, <a href="mailto:INTL_STU@tamu-commerce.edu">INTL_STU@tamu-commerce.edu</a>.

<p class=MsoNormal>We also will put you in contact with the Association of International
Students, a multination student organization already here on campus. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>You may also contact us with your information about
contacting students who live in countries that are in close prominently of
yours. We’ve had several students from neighboring countries work together in
the past. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><b><i><u><span style='color:red'>Attached</span></u></i></b><span
style='color:red'> to this email is information and forms for students and
groups to participate in the talent show performances and individual/group
fashion show participants</span>. All talent and fashion show applications must
be in by March 25<sup>th</sup> if not sooner.<o:p></o:p></p>

group. If you are the only student from your home country don’t hesitate to
join the Festival. We would be glad to have you participate. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>The talent show will be limited to 10-15 performances so get
your application in as soon as possible. The fashion show will be limited to 20
individual or couple participants. <o:p></o:p></p>
