<p class=MsoNormal>The ISSO will host Optional Practical Training Workshops on
Wednesday, February 23 at 3:30pm and Friday, February 25 at 10am in the BA
building. Location to be determined. ALL STUDENTS ARE
REQUIRED TO ATTEND AN OPT WORKSHOP BEFORE APPLYING FOR OPT.<b> </b>You
may attend the workshop any semester during your academic program (you do not
have to wait until graduating semester) and you are only required to attend one
(1) OPT workshop during your academic program. <b> </b><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>The ISSO will also host a Curricular Practical Training
workshop on Friday, February 25 at 10am in the BA building. Location to
be determined. Curricular Practical Training (CPT) allows students in research
and internship courses to gain paid work experience outside the classroom. To
be eligible for CPT, you must be enrolled for at least one academic year at a
DHS approved school in the U.S. (1 Fall term + 1 Spring term, any order) prior
to the CPT period. There are some exceptions to this requirement. <o:p></o:p></p>
