<p class=MsoNormal>The ISSO is currently accepting applications for the Good
Neighbor Scholarship (GNS) sponsored by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating
Board.&nbsp; Recipients of the GNS for the 2010-2011 year will have their tuition
exempted for the year &nbsp;(Fall, Spring, Summer).&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><b>Applications must be submitted in person to the ISSO in
Halladay 104 or via email to <a href="mailto:john_jones@tamu-commerce.edu">john_jones@tamu-commerce.edu</a>
by 5pm on Friday, February 26, 2010.&nbsp; Attached is the application (Word
and pdf file) and the information sheet for the scholarship.&nbsp; <u><span
style='color:red'>Only students from the countries listed on the information
sheet and meet the requirements below are eligible for the GNS.&nbsp; </span></u><o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>To be eligible for the GNS an individual must:<o:p></o:p></p>

</span><span style='color:black'>Be a nonresident from an eligible country;<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><span style='color:black'>&middot;
</span><span style='color:black'>Be a native-born citizen and current resident
of a nation of the Western Hemisphere other than Cuba or the United States<o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span><span style='color:black'>Intend to return to the eligible country upon
completion of his/her program of study;<o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span><span style='color:black'>Be admitted unconditionally at an eligible
public institution in Texas; and<o:p></o:p></span></p>
