to please check the travel validation signature on the 3<sup>rd</sup> page of
your I-20. <b><i><u><span style='font-weight:bold;font-style:italic'>This
signature is valid for one year from the date of the signature for re-entry
into the U.S.</span></u></i></b> If your return to the U.S. will be
beyond one year from the date of the current signature on the 3<sup>rd</sup> page<font
color=navy><span style='color:navy'> </span></font>please bring your I-20 by
the ISSO and fill out a request form for I-20 endorsement for travel (see link
below).<font color=navy><span style='color:navy'> </span></font>Also,
please be sure to confirm that your passport and visa are valid for re-entry
into the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">U.S.</st1:country-region></st1:place>

in your home country or at your country’s embassy in the <st1:place
w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">U.S.</st1:country-region></st1:place>
Visas can only be renewed outside the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region
w:st="on">U.S.</st1:country-region></st1:place> and it is preferred that
students renew their visa in their home country. Also, we recommend that
students who are renewing their visa to make a request for a visa renewal
