<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>As a full time F-1 international student, you are required by the F-1
regulations to have <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>an I-20 with a valid date</span></b>.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>It is each student’s responsibility to know your I-20 expiration
date and make sure that you request to extend your I-20 within 30 days before it
expires. The expiration date of your I-20 can be found on item #5, page 1 of
your I-20.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>An I-20 cannot be extended after the expiration date.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>Students whose I-20 will expire on May 31, 2007 but will not be able to
complete your degree in May 2007 must make an appointment to extend your I-20
with me between May 1 to May 29. Call the ISSO early to request for your
appointment for I-20 extension.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>To extend your I-20, you will need to bring your degree plan showing
the number of courses left to take and a current sponsor/bank statement showing
the amount of at least $15500 for two semesters or $8000 for one semester.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>On the day of your appointment, you will also have to bring your
expiring I-20, passport, visa and I-94 with you.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

who have not completed the degree and will need more time to complete the
degree; it is not required for students who had applied for OPT or are already
