12.0pt'>Is it required for me to register for any classes in the summer 2007?<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>The answer is: <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'>It depends on your situation. The F-1 regulations only require all
international students to be enrolled full time (9 hours for grads/ 12 hours
for undergrads) every spring and fall semesters; summer semesters are always
optional so you are not required to take any classes in the summer.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

<p class=MsoNormal><b><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span
style='font-size:12.0pt;font-weight:bold'>However</span></font></b>, if you are
the recipients of the housing scholarship that requires you to be enrolled full
time in the summer then you must be enrolled in the summer to maintain your
scholarship eligibility. You must read your scholarship contracts or contact the
scholarship office for clarification on your requirement for summer enrollment.<o:p></o:p></p>
