[International Students]

Hello,



All F-1 students are required to report their employment status, work address, and employer information to the OIP while on approved on a 12-month Optional Practical Training within 10 days of starting a new employment or any change. 

 

OPT – Reporting Requirements 

·          Start of employment

·          Any change of employment

·         Multiple employers 

·         Change of employer, address, supervisor 

·         Any change in your current physical address where you reside

 

All information must be reported through the OPT Reporting Form. After you have submitted your request, OIP will input your information to report your employment in SEVIS and report to Department of homeland security within 4-5 business days.

Processing times for all forms are 7-10 business days from date of submission to our office.

Hello, my name is Andrea Ohouo,
I am writing this email to you because I’m trying to report my employment through the SEVP Portal but it says I should have received an email from them in order for me to create an account but I haven’t received any email from them. I would like to know if you can help me request an email from them so that I can create my account and report my employment. Please,I need help as soon as possible because I have received my OPT card in February 2nd and I don’t want to pass the due date.
