Dear TAMUC International Students:

Hope all is well at your ends. The Office of International Programs has a few announcements. Feel free to send responses to us on any of the issues mentioned by emailing: Intl.Stu at tamuc.edu<mailto:Intl.Stu at tamuc.edu> . Thank you.

TAMUC Mask Policy:
It has come to our attention from the Dean of Students Office that many international students are in violation of the mask policy. Please know that wearing masks in the COVID-19 environment is your show of respect for others around you. In addition, it is an institutional policy that you wear masks indoor and outdoor, especially in places where it is impossible to maintain social distance. Don't be infected by coronavirus which is real, deadly and can maim for life. Don't let your guard down, wear your mask at all times according to TAMUC policy. Also, observe good hygiene - wash your hands regularly and continue with social distancing. Comply with TAMUC Mask Policy; Avoid Judicial Conduct Hearing.

TAMUC Flags of Nations:
Please stop by the second floor of the Rayburn Student Center to enjoy the new Flags of Nations display! The exhibit features over 100 national flags, including 60 countries represented on campus by more than 600 international students. The colorful array highlights the diversity that exists at Texas A&M University-Commerce and speaks to one of the pillars of TAMUC's strategic plan: inclusion. Plus, it brings the entire floor to life! See picture of flags right in front of RSC elevators on the second floor.

*On October 16, 2020, there will be a formal flag dedication by the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. John Humphreys and other TAMUC delegates. This will be livestreamed for all to view, so stay tuned! More information from OIP to follow next week.
