On-Campus Food Distribution

The Lion Food Pantry has partnered with Catholic Charities of Dallas to offer a food distribution event for our students. Any A&M-Commerce student who is currently experiencing food insecurity is welcome to sign-up and receive a box of non-perishable food.  There are a limited number of boxes that will be available at this event; therefore, we are asking that you fill out the form linked below. This form will let us know that you would like to pick up a box of food and allow you to reserve a time to pick-up.

Instructions for Students:
Please do your very best to pick up your box during the timeframe you choose.

We ask that you line up on the sidewalk and a pantry staff member or volunteer will come by to get your name and make sure you have completed the form. You will then wait in line to receive your box of food. Each box weighs approximately 25 lbs. and students will be responsible for transporting their box back home.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:
The Lion Food Pantry will be following the guidelines recommended by the CDC and those established by the Texas A&M University System.  All pantry staff and volunteers will be required to wear protective facial coverings and gloves.
STUDENTS:
* Social distancing will be enforced.
* We recommend that you wear a protective facial covering and gloves.
* Please only touch the box that is yours.

NOTE: If you do not live near Commerce, but need access to food resources, please contact LionPantry at tamuc.edu<mailto:LionPantry at tamuc.edu> and we will provide you with information for a pantry closer to where you live.
