[Intl-stu] Walk-In Travel Signature Days on May 10 & 11

[International Students]

The International Student & Scholar Services (ISSS) office will host Walk-In Travel Signature Days on May 10 and May 11 from 1:30pm-4pm each day.  Afternoon advising hours will be cancelled during Walk-In Travel Signature Days.

Students planning to travel outside the U.S. during the summer break may visit the ISSS in Halladay 104 during Travel Signature Week and receive a travel signature while they wait.  Please note that in light of recent Presidential Executive Orders we do not recommend international students travel outside the U.S. unless absolutely necessary.

THE TRAVEL SIGNATURE IS ON THE 2ND PAGE OF THE I-20 AND IT IS VALID FOR 12-MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SIGNATURE FOR RE-ENTRY.  A travel signature is not required to DEPART the U.S. but a valid travel signature (within past 12 months) is required to RE-ENTER the U.S.  For more information go to ISSS Travel Resources<http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/travelinformation.aspx>.  Below are the documents required for a travel signature request:

*        Copy of passport, visa and I-94
