[Intl-stu] Full course of study requirement

[International Students]

This email is a reminder that the Student Exchange Visitor Program ( SEVP) requires all F-1 and J-1 students to enroll in a full course of study each fall and spring semester.  Summer enrollment is not required unless it is your first semester in your academic program at A&M-Commerce.  Attached is a handout that addresses the requirements, provides all exceptions, and provides examples.

Please take a moment and review the attached handout to ensure you are enrolled as required.  If you will enroll in less than a full course of study for spring and meet one of the allowed exceptions be sure to submit the Reduced Course Load Form<http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/reduced-course-load-form.aspx> immediately.
