[Intl-stu] Please review your student account for SSHIP

[International Students]

This email is a courtesy email to all international students to request you review your student account in myLEO to ensure your account is accurate in regards to the System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP).  The ISSS has been reviewing all reports to ensure accuracy and it is very important that all accounts are accurate.

If you review your student account, you HAVE been charged for the SSHIP, and you meet one of the exceptions below then please email IntlInsurance at tamuc.edu<mailto:IntlInsurance at tamuc.edu> immediately:

*        You meet one of the A&M System allowed exceptions at TAMUC Waiver<http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/insurance.aspx>

*        You have Grad Plan insurance effective from 09/01/2016

*        You are not an F-1 or J-1 international student

If you review your student account, you HAVEN'T been charged for the SSHIP and you DO NOT meet any of the above exceptions please email IntlInsurance at tamuc.edu<mailto:IntlInsurance at tamuc.edu> immediately.

Attached with this email is a frequently asked questions handout that includes important information about the SSHIP and your benefits.  Please be sure to review this handout if you have any questions or concerns.  If you have not received your insurance card yet the attached handout addresses all the ways to receive your proof of coverage.
