[Intl-stu] FW: MSA event (Muslim Student Association) November 3

[International Students]

Greetings,
[Inline image 2]
This event is a great platform for cultural exchange as we are giving an opportunity for the girls to try Hijab, a traditional scarf that Muslim women use to cover their head. The purpose of this event is to break stereotypes and bring awareness to what the hijab is, why Muslims wear a hijab, the meaning behind it and give a voice to Muslim women that wear it. Apart from this, to make it little fun, we will be hosting free henna and people can get their names written in Arabic. We will also be giving away free traditional food and give away too.
Where: Campus Crossroads (between the library and the Agriculture Building)
When: Thursday, November 3
Time: 10am to 1pm
