[Intl-stu] System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP) waiver has opened

The waiver period has opened for the System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP)<http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/insurance.aspx>.  Students that meet one of the System allowed exceptions at Waiver Guidelines<http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/insurance.aspx> may submit a waiver at Waiver Request<https://tamuc.myahpcare.com/waiver>.  The deadline to submit a waiver is September 6, 2016.   All waivers are processed by Academic Health Plans (AHP) and the ISSS will not review or grant waivers.  For  more information about the SSHIP you may review the attached SSHIP Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

Students with full-time graduate assistantships for the fall (GA) with Grad Plan Insurance will need to submit the Assistantship Waiver Verification<http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/campusServices/internationalStudentServices/assistantship_form.aspx> Form.  GA's DO NOT submit a waiver request.  For more information about the Grad Plan Insurance and the SSHIP you may review the attached Graduate Assistant/SSHIP Frequently Asked Question handout.
