The International Student Services Office has walk-in advising hours for international students and these times are listed below:

The advising staff at the ISSO may not always be available to assist students when they visit the ISSO throughout the day so we have walk-in advising times where one of the ISSO staff members will be available to assist students during the times listed above.   Please note that walk-in advising is not intended to replace normal processing time (up to 5 business days) for requests (letter, travel signature) or appointments for applying for benefits with USCIS.

Walk-in advising sessions are limited to 15 minutes per student, are intended for general questions or advising, and are on a "first-come, first serve" basis:

*         During these posted times there will be an advisor available to assist students with any general questions or advising.

*         While advisors will try to be available during our regular office hours of 8am-5pm we may not always be available to assist students who walk-in throughout the day.  Our walk-in advising hours provide specific times where our office will have an advisor available to assist any student who may visit the ISSO, call our office, or call/chat with the ISSO through Skype with general advising questions or concerns.

*         PLEASE NOTE that between 12pm-1pm each day most advisors in the ISSO are at lunch and are not available to assist students who may visit the ISSO.

Students who live in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area may always schedule an online advising appointment with an advisor at the ISSO through Skype.  We often hear students comment that they drove all the way from Dallas to meet with a staff member and we want to make sure students are aware that we provide online appointments and times for advising.
