[Intl-stu] FW: Parade of flags

[International Students]

We still need volunteers to carry flags for the parade of flags on
Tuesday, April 1 from 11am to 1pm.  The parade of flags will be during
the day on April 1 from 11am to 1pm and students will carry flags across
campus to promote the Multicultural Festival that evening.  This annual
event is a great tradition as a kickoff event for our festival
activities and we want as many countries as possible represented.  

 

The ISSO will provide flags for the event and we have over 50 countries
represented on-campus but we have only had 8 flags reserved (see below).
If you would like to participate, please complete the registration form

jUhU/viewform and provide your name, country you would like to represent
(carry the flag), and be sure to provide your email.  

 

If you have class during the event the ISSO can request you be excused
from class(s) so you may participate.  The following flags have been
reserved:

*         Italy

*         India

*         Venezuela

*         South Korea

*         Thailand

*         Vietnam

*         Spain

*         Commonwealth of Dominica
