[Intl-stu] [BULK] Students with GA insurance

We would like to provide an update regarding the waiver process for international students who have the GA insurance.  The A&M System and SSHIP has clarified that it IS NOT necessary for international students who have GA insurance to apply for a waiver with the SSHIP Academic Health Plans.  The A&M System will be responsible to verify all GA's to the SSHIP each semester.  
 
Students with employment based health insurance or who have a government scholarship that includes health insurance will be required to apply for a waiver by following the steps below.  For more information about waivers go to http://www.tamuc.edu/CampusLife/CampusServices/internationalStudentServices/currentStudents/insurance.aspx. Be sure to have your insurance card, benefit information including exclusions, and school ID ready when you apply for the waiver:

	Go to https://www2.academichealthplans.com/school/212.html <https://outlook.tamuc.edu/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=https://www2.academichealthplans.com/school/212.html>

	Login to the waiver system by using the following information: Login is CWID and password is date of birth (mmddyyy)

	After entering your insurance information and attaching the proof of insurance documents click "Submit"

PLEASE NOTE the deadline to submit a waiver request is Janaury 17.
