[Intl-stu] Practical training workshops this Friday, February 14

[International Students]

The ISSO is hosting an Optional Practical Training workshop at 10am on
Friday, February 14 at 10am in BA221.  Students are required to attend
an OPT workshop in one of their final two semesters at A&M-Commerce
before they may apply for OPT.  If you will graduate this spring or
summer please be sure to attend a workshop as soon as possible. 

 

The ISSO will also host a Curricular Practical Training workshop at 2pm
on Friday, February 14 at 2pm in BA221.  If you would like to learn more
about your off-campus employment options while you are studying in your
academic program then we would encourage you to attend.  

 

We are also working on trying to broadcast both workshops online as well
for students who may not be able to attend face to face.  I am working
with the Faculty Technology department to confirm we will be able to
broadcast the workshop through Adobe Connect and we should be able to
confirm this by Wednesday, February 12.  An email will be sent out on
Wednesday to let students know.
