Current students who traveled outside the U.S. during the semester break
in December and January need to be sure to provide updated copies of
their passport, visa, and I-94 to the ISSO. Students may email copies
of their documents to intl.stu at tamuc.edu or you may make copies and
bring them by the ISSO in Halladay 104.
To access your electronic I-94 record please go to www.cbp.gov/I94. If
you are unable to find your I-94 record then please follow some of the
suggestions below. Please only follow these suggestions if you are
unable to find your I-94 record:
* If you have multiple names just list your first (given) name
and family name only
* You may try to reverse your first name and family name
* On the bottom of a passport there is a long serial number.
Port of entries will mistakenly enter the serial number instead of the
correct passport number.
* If your passport or I-20 does not have a first name of last
name you may use LNU (last name unknown) or FNU (first name or family
name unknown)
If you are still unable to find your electronic I-94 record then you
will need to make an appointment at deferred inspection in the Dallas
area to resolve this issue. For more information contact the Dallas
Deferred Inspection at 972-973-9846.
