[Intl-stu] Health insurance changes for the fall semester

The System Student Health Insurance Plan (SSHIP) has been updated for the 2014-2015 academic year.   The International Student Services Office has updated our website to include links to the new information for the 2014-2015 academic year. *         Increase in Coverage Benefits- There have been some changes with the coverage for the new academic year and students may review the summary of coverage benefits at https://myahpcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/TAMU_SBC_14_15.pdf. *         Premium Increase for the 2014-2015 Academic Year- The semester premium cost for the SSHIP has increased for the new academic year.  Students will need to be sure to review the premium cost enrollment information at https://myahpcare.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/TAMUS_Premium_Cost_Intl_14_151.pdf.


*         Waiver Application Period-  The application period for students who meet one of the System allowed insurance waiver will begin on Monday, August 11 and will end on Wednesday, September 10.  To apply for an insurance waiver please go to https://tamuc.myahpcare.com/waiver.   Students who fail to submit their waiver request by the deadline of September 10 will be charged for the health insurance and a refund may be processed at a later time if the student is eligible.  Please allow Academic Healh Plans (AHP) up to 7 business days to process waiver requests.  The ISSO does not process any waiver requests.
