[Intl-stu] Vounteer to help promote the festival!

[International Students]

The ISSO needs student volunteers on Thursday, March 28 between 9am and
12pm and Monday, April 1 from 9am-12pm to help with promoting the
upcoming Multicultural Festival.  

 

We will set-up an information table at the campus crossroads (by the
lion statue between BA building, Ed. South, and the AG/IT building) and
serve coffee, tea, and treats and pass out promotion cards for the
festival.  The ISSO will supply the beverages, food, and promotional
materials but we need students who can work at the table between
9am-12pm.  We would love to have students in their native clothes for
this event if possible.  If you are interested please email
John.Jones at tamuc.edu as soon as possible.  

 

To remind you, the 19th Annual Multicultural Festival is on Tuesday,
April 2 on the second floor of the student center.  This is a great
opportunity for our international students to share their culture with
the university and surrounding community.  The festival schedule is as
follows:

*         Parade of flags from 11am to no later than 1pm

*         Opening ceremony and food/display tables at 5pm

*         Talent/fashion show at 7pm

*         DJ with international music at 9:30pm
