Texas state law requires all new students under the age of 30 to have a
Bacterial Meningitis vaccination before they can study at a
university/college in Texas. For all new Texas A&M University-Commerce
students, you must receive the vaccination and submit your proof of
vaccination through your myLEO for approval. Our university uses a
third party, Magnus Health, to review and approve the vaccination
information.

If you have not received your Bacterial Meningitis vaccination or
submitted your proof for the vaccination through your myLEO you need to
do so immediately. FAILURE TO MEET THIS REQUIREMENT WILL RESULT IN YOU
NOT BEING ABLE TO CONTINUE IN CLASSES AT TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY-COMMERCE.
This will jeopardize your visa status.

Students may go to Student Health Services in Henderson Hall (building
B19 on map) to receive the vaccination. DO NOT DELAY IN MEETING THIS
REQUIREMENT!

For instructions on submitting your Bacterial Meningitis vaccination
through the old myLEO please go to our website at

ices/new-students/bacterial-meningitis-vaccination-requirement.aspx.
You may also visit the Student Access and Success building (One Stop
Shop, building B38 on map) where there are people available to assist
you with submitting your vaccination proof.
