[Intl-stu] Insurance cards have been emailed

[International Students]

All students who were automatically enrolled in the A&M System insurance, AIP, should have received their insurance card via email to the university/myLEO email.  If you did not receive your insurance card then you may:

·        Call the ISSO at 903-886-5097

·        Contact AIP directly at 800-452-5772

·        Print off your insurance card directly from AIP's website.  Go to www.tamuinsurance.com, select our university and the International Student Insurance Plan, scroll down and under Our Insured Students you will have the option to Print ID Card.   

 

Please print out your insurance card and keep it with you at all times.  This will be your proof of insurance in case you need to go to a doctor or have a medical emergency.  If you need to find a health care provider in the AIP network please see the attached information.  Also attached is a frequently asked questions.    

 

If you have not paid the $369 insurance charge on your account then you must do so IMMEDIATELY.  Failure to make payment for your insurance may result in your courses being dropped for non-payment which will lead to visa status issues.  

 

Regardless of the method of payment please be sure to tell Financial Services (Student Accounts) to apply your payment to the $369 insurance charge.  You may contact Financial Services (Student Accounts) at 903-886-5993, 5501, 5053, or 903-468-8702.

Ø  Pay through myLeo <https://leo.tamu-commerce.edu/login.aspx>  with a credit card.  Be sure to contact Financial Services to confirm your payment will be applied to the insurance charge.

Ø  Pay over the phone with a credit card by calling 903-886-5050 or 5501 (or one of the numbers listed above) 

Ø  Pay in person to the cashier's window in the McDowell Administration (BA building) or One Stop Shop (Student Access and Success).
