[Intl-stu] OPT/CPT workshops

[International Students]

The ISSO will host Curricular Practical Training workshops on Wednesday,
January 18 at 3:30pm in BA 221 and Friday, February 3 at 10am in BA 245.
Curricular Practical Training (CPT) allows students who have internship
or research courses to obtain part-time or full-time paid work
experience outside the classroom. Because it works like a lab, CPT
employment dates are synchronized with a specific CPT course and the
employment authorization is only during the dates of the specific
course. For more information click here

The ISSO will host Optional Practical Training workshops on Friday,
January 20 at 10am (location to be determined) and Wednesday, January 25
at 3:30pm in BA 221. Please remember that all students are required
to attend one (1) OPT workshop before they are eligible to apply for
OPT. Students may attend the workshop at any time during their academic
program. For more information click here
