[Intl-stu] San Antonio trip during spring break- sign up today!

[International Students]

The ISSO will sponsor a trip for international students to San Antonio,
TX from Sunday, March 11 to Wednesday, March 14.  We will stay within
walking distance of the River Walk
<http://www.thesanantonioriverwalk.com/>  area in downtown San Antonio
and the following attractions will be in close proximity: the Alamo
<http://thealamo.org/> , Rivercenter Mall
<http://www.shoprivercenter.com/> , Hemisfair Park
<http://www.texasexplorer.com/HemisFairPark.htm> , along with many other
local and cultural attractions.  Please go to River Walk

The cost of the trip is $250 which includes hotel room (4 students per
room), one ticket to Sea World, and transportation to and from San
Antonio and transportation to and from Sea World only.  If you would
like to room with your friend(s) then it is strongly recommended you
come to the ISSO and sign up together (no coed rooms).  Cost for food
(hotel provides continental breakfast) and any other expenses will be
the responsibility of the student.  

 

We will spend one full day at Sea World
<http://seaworldparks.com/en/seaworld-sanantonio>  San Antonio and one
day we will tour the Alamo as well as have free time to explore the
attractions in downtown San Antonio.  Smaller group excursions may be
planned depending upon interest.

 

Seating is limited for the trip and the deadline to sign up is
Wednesday, February 22 at 3pm.  Students must sign up IN PERSON (no
friends, emails, or phone calls) at the ISSO in Halladay 104.  If you
would like to room with your friend(s) then it is strongly recommended
you come to the ISSO and sign up together (no coed rooms).  A
liability/waiver form and medical history form will be provided in the
ISSO at registration for students to review and sign for the trip.  

 

This trip is only open to currently enrolled A&M-Commerce international
students.  The full $250 deposit is required at registration and is
non-refundable once you sign up (unless the trip is cancelled). The ISSO
reserves the right to cancel the trip if we do not have enough students
sign up.  Payment may be in cash (EXACT CHANGE ONLY) or money order made
out to Texas A&M University-Commerce.
