ALL STUDENT ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN CHARGED EXCEPT STUDENTS WHO HAVE MET ONE
OF THE EXEMPTIONS ALLOWED:
* Students with full-time graduate assistantships who have
reported their GA to the Human Resource Office AND signed up for the GA
insurance
* Students who has a spouse employed within the U.S., is covered
through their spouses insurance, and has submitted all required
insurance documentation to the ISSO for approval
* Students with government scholarships (Saudi Arabia) that
include insurance
As mentioned below, please log into your myLeo to review your account to
see if your account information is accurate. AFTER you review your
account you may contact Maggie_Thomas at tamu-commerce.edu or call
903-468-6078 if your account is not correct.
Please log into your myLeo <https://leo.tamu-commerce.edu/login.aspx> ,
click on Check your balance and make payments (on the left side), and
check your balance. The $297 insurance charge is a separate charge from
your tuition and fees on your student account. If the charge does not
appear on your account or you have been charged incorrectly please email
Maggie_Thomas at tamu-commerce.edu or call 903-468-6078 to discuss your
charge.
Payment for the insurance charge must be made by February 13.
Failure to make payment by this time may lead to your courses being
dropped which may lead to visa status issues. You may pay your

a credit card (please be sure to call the Registrar at 903-886-5050 or
5501 to instruct them to apply the $297 payment to your insurance
charge)
* You may pay over the phone with a credit card by calling
903-886-5050 or 5501
* By going in person to the cashier's window in the McDowell
Administration (BA building) or One Stop Shop (Student Access and
Success).
When you make payment for the $297 insurance charge you must instruct
the Financial Services office (Bursar) to apply the payment to the
insurance charge.
Attached is a frequently asked questions form that will answer most of
your questions related to the insurance. Your insurance card will be
emailed to your university email by the end of February. You will
receive notice once the insurance cards are emailed. If you have a
medical emergency or need to visit a healthcare provider before you
receive your insurance card please email Maggie_Thomas at tamu-commerce.edu
or call 903-468-6078 to request your card. We will notify the insurance
company and they will email your insurance card to your university email
within 1-2 business days.
