[Intl-stu] Optional Practical Training Workshops this fall

[International Students]

Did you know that F-1 students are eligible for 12-months of employment
within the U.S. in their field of study after they graduate?  Did you
know some students are eligible for an additional 17-months of
employment for a combined 29-months if they graduate in certain majors?
Would you like to learn more about your post-graduation employment
options?  

 

The ISSO will host Optional Practical Training (OPT) Workshops this fall
semester on the following dates (dates and times may be subject to
change).  If you are graduating this fall semester please make note of
the workshop dates and times and remember you are required to attend a
workshop before being eligible to apply for OPT:

Wednesday, September 21 at 3:30pm in BA 221

Friday, September 23 at 10:30am in BA 243

Wednesday, October 5 at 3:30pm in BA 221

Friday, October 7 at 10:30am in BA 243

Wednesday, October 19 at 3:30pm in BA 221

Friday, October 21 at 10:30am in BA 243

Wednesday, November 9 at 3:30pm in BA 221

Friday, November 11 at 10:30am in BA 243

Friday, December 2 at 10:30am in BA 243

 

All F-1 students are required to attend one (1) OPT workshop before
being eligible to apply for OPT.  Students may attend a workshop at any
time during their academic program.
